    Technical Support 

    Location: South East England
    Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum (depending on experience) + excellent benefits

    About the Role

    Are you a Security & Fire Engineer ready for a new challenge? Do you thrive on resolving technical issues, improving processes, and delivering outstanding customer service?

    Our client, a respected leader in cutting‑edge security solutions, is seeking a skilled Alarm & CCTV Technical Support Specialist to provide expert advice and drive service enhancements across their operations. This is a varied role that blends hands‑on technical support with continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring customers receive the highest level of service.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide technical support and guidance to customers via phone and email for alarms, fire systems, CCTV, access control, and entry systems
    • Liaise with service, maintenance, and installation teams to coordinate engineer visits where required
    • Support product validation and testing for new or upgraded products and services
    • Offer expert technical assistance to the engineering team
    • Investigate root causes of technical issues and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams on solutions
    • Work closely with technology teams to implement innovations that improve service efficiency
    • Create self‑service resources for customers in collaboration with the customer service team
    • Monitor and report on trends or recurring issues, escalating where necessary
    • Keep departmental processes and quality manuals up to date

    About You

    You’ll bring a strong technical background and product knowledge across:

    • Pyronix, HikVision, Comelit, Paxton, BPT, EMS, HyFire
    • General expertise in alarms, CCTV, fire, access control, and entry systems

    You’ll also have:

    • Excellent organisational, time‑management, and IT skills
    • Clear communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently at all levels
    • A proactive, solutions‑focused approach to technical challenges
