About the Role

Our client, a respected leader in cutting‑edge security solutions, is seeking a skilled Alarm & CCTV Technical Support Specialist to provide expert advice and drive service enhancements across their operations. This is a varied role that blends hands‑on technical support with continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring customers receive the highest level of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers via phone and email for alarms, fire systems, CCTV, access control, and entry systems
- Liaise with service, maintenance, and installation teams to coordinate engineer visits where required
- Support product validation and testing for new or upgraded products and services
- Offer expert technical assistance to the engineering team
- Investigate root causes of technical issues and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams on solutions
- Work closely with technology teams to implement innovations that improve service efficiency
- Create self‑service resources for customers in collaboration with the customer service team
- Monitor and report on trends or recurring issues, escalating where necessary
- Keep departmental processes and quality manuals up to date
About You
You’ll bring a strong technical background and product knowledge across:
- Pyronix, HikVision, Comelit, Paxton, BPT, EMS, HyFire
- General expertise in alarms, CCTV, fire, access control, and entry systems
You’ll also have:
- Excellent organisational, time‑management, and IT skills
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently at all levels
- A proactive, solutions‑focused approach to technical challenges
