Our client, a leading Fire and Security company based in Birmingham, is seeking a dedicated Security Service Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The role involves delivering high-quality service and maintenance support across a range of security systems, including intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting routine servicing, troubleshooting faults, and carrying out minor installations or works as required. The role requires an energetic and proactive individual who can efficiently diagnose issues and ensure client systems are operating effectively, maintaining the company's reputation for quality service. You will be expected to carry out fault finding on systems, perform minor installation works, and provide excellent customer service on-site. It is vital that you can work independently, manage your own schedule, and adhere to health and safety standards during all duties.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in servicing intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems
- Experience in fault finding and carrying out small works on security systems
- Proficient in diagnosing issues and performing repairs or system adjustments
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple calls efficiently
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Relevant industry qualifications are desirable but not essential
