Role Overview
As a Security Installation & Service Engineer, you’ll deliver turnkey security solutions across £1M+ homes. You’ll install, commission, and maintain bespoke intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, and concierge-style systems—always upholding our commitment to confidentiality and technical precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and commission conventional and addressable security systems in luxury residences
- Perform routine service visits, preventative maintenance, and fault diagnosis
- Liaise discreetly with private clients, estate managers, and household staff
- Produce detailed site survey reports, schematics, and handover documentation
- Ensure compliance with British Standards (e.g., BS 8243, BS EN 50131) and manufacturer guidelines
- Carry out on-site training and user-handover, ensuring clients understand system operation
- Maintain accurate job logs, certification paperwork, and warranty records
- Escalate and resolve client concerns with professionalism and prompt communication
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience installing and servicing residential security systems
- Strong technical knowledge of intruder alarms, access control, CCTV, and intercoms
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards (BS 8243, EN 50131)
- Excellent client-facing skills and a service-driven mindset
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide
- High level of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Security clearance or willingness to undergo vetting
